Her watercolours are painted on site capturing the essence of a place and the special character of the day. Detailed observation is important and she greatly enjoys buildings in the landscape.
Interest in poetry inspires much of her calligraphy which incorporates an elegant quality of line with appropriate decorative details. She works on vellum with gold leaf. The calligraphy in this exhibition is inspired by the work of the writer Michelle Lovric - "Venice, Tales of the City" and "Carnevale".
